There are various analogs to bitcoins. So when somebody is intending to exchange bitcoin, it can mean that he or she speaks of litecoins, peercoins, dogecoins, namecoins or other digital money. One can buy, sell, spend or exchange various kinds of bitcoins on indacoin or other virtual currency exchange. Any serious crypto currency exchange offers a variety of digital currency at your disposal. But it is desirable to get acquainted with the most common ones before starting to handle with them.

At the indacoin official web page it is possible to carry out operations with bitcoin. It is provided with software that can be used equally to exchange bitcoin or any other existing digital currency. At the same time, Bitcoin (with the capitalized first letter) is the pioneer decentralized Internet currency in history, launched for public usage in 2009.

Later on a pile of similar Bitcoin-based digital money appeared on every up-to-date crypto currency exchange. For example, Litecoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency, too.

But it is distinctive from bitcoin due to several characteristics though, such as a higher speed of transaction confirmations, as well as the ability to mine coins efficiently with the help of consumer-grade hardware.

PeerCoin is another digital currency that appeared a couple of years ago. In contrast with the two previously mentioned currencies, it uses a hybrid proof-of-work/ proof-of-stake system. Such a system adds to the reduction of risks of attacks that could be possible on a monopolized mining share.

There are other kinds of digital money widely used on every serious crypto currency exchange. NameCoin, Dogecoin, Mastercoin are among them. And it is strongly recommended to stick to the official and widely accepted currencies, as well as to respectful virtual currency exchanges, such as indacoin, in order to avoid problems and complicacies associated with technical or legal issues.
